After a great deal of researching I finally joined what I considered to be an exploding Network Marketing company. Just shy of the 30 day mark I got a nasty e-mail from my sponsor yesterday claiming he was concerned because I haven’t been following the “tools for success” guild lines that which are laid out by most Network Marketing Companies. You know…
•Make a list of your warm market
•Employ the “3 foot rule”
•Invite your list to listen to conference calls
•Hold Private Business Receptions
•Start 3-way calling
•Always be Selling (A.B.C)
Well my response was to inform him that I got my own “tools for success”. He was not pleased and insisted that I explain what myself. Ok, he asked for it and he got it right…
I should begin by saying that sometimes it takes doing something different if you want different results… So here goes.
These are my “Tools for Success”
•Create a Domain Name
•Research Key Words
•Create a Capture Page
•Create a Blog
•Submit Articles & Press Releases
•Contact Targeted Responses
Here’s the thing… Most up-line sponsors either forgot or don’t realize that “Marketing” is the biggest part of Network Marketing. Simply put, in today’s world there’s no better way to reach the masses than by utilizing the Internet to Market your opportunity.
Think about it…
Knocking on 1,000,000 doors could take you a life time to complete, however good copy from a sales letter or blog can literally have millions of prospects contacting you basically at the click of a button. I explained to my sponsor that this type of comparison is the reality of Marketing on the Internet vs. Marketing to your warm market.
Food for thought:
In today's world of Internet Marketing it’s often the guys who work smartest not the hardest that have the most success. And when you talk about success you have to decide how much time and effort you’re willing to invest to get the end result. Blogs, Articles, Press Releases, and Search Engine Optimization are basically unknown avenues amongst the "old school" marketer's. Depending on what your goals are these techniques can have astonishing results.
The moral here is simple...
Find an opportunity and sponsor that has some basic knowledge of Internet Marketing. Do your research, stick to your guns and don’t fall into the rut…
