Internet Marketing, New Vs Old.

After a great deal of researching I finally joined what I considered to be an exploding Network Marketing company. Just shy of the 30 day mark I got a nasty e-mail from my sponsor claiming he was concerned because I haven’t been following the “tools for success” guild lines that which are laid out by most Network Marketing Companies. You know…

•Make a list of your warm market

•Employ the “3 foot rule”

•Hold Private Business Receptions

•Start 3-way calling

Well my response was to inform him that I got my own “tools for success”. He was not pleased and insisted that I explain what myself.

I should begin by saying that sometimes it takes doing something different if you want different results… So here goes.

These are my “Tools for Success”

•Create a domain name

•Research Key Words

•Create a Capture Page

•Create a Blog

•Submit Articles & Press Releases

•Contact Targeted Responses

Here’s the thing… Most up-line sponsors either forgot or don’t realize that “Marketing” is the biggest part of Network Marketing. Simply put, in today’s world there’s no better way to reach the masses than by utilizing the Internet to Market your opportunity.

Why Internet Marketer's Fail...

Do you know anything about selling? Do you know how to run a business? What about marketing, advertising or recruiting. The picture is painted all so rosy for you by the MLM gurus that anyone can just put up a website and make money. However it is not impossible for the little guy to make it, but people certainly deserve to know the facts before they jump in.

Why is it that even the good programs don't seem to work for everyone? You are presented with a great product and a good marketing plan, as least on paper, but when you try it no one wants to hear it.

Your friends and family certainly do not welcome your phone calls and emails. They just want to be left alone. They do not share your dreams. So do not try to impose them on them if you want to keep them as friends?

Most Internet Marketing Businesses fail for the simple reason that not everyone knows how to sell, or even where to start. The internet has given us many great tools to give us all an equal chance to easily enter the marketplace and that is a good thing, however it does not guarantee success.

There are many fine articles and training courses on marketing available. If you are going to try a home based business, you should start with educating yourself in all areas that you will need.

Search Engine Rules

When it comes to some issues that will work against your SEO efforts, there are some issues where everyone agrees. Among these, the most prominent are:

·         Not having a web page title

·          Using too many graphics, images, or flash animation on a given web page

·          Having a menu system that is prohibitively complex.

It is extremely important that every web page on your site has a title. Without providing a descriptive title that is search engine optimized with the right keywords, you'll not only hurt your ranking, but you'll turn visitors away.

Consider it the equivalent to owning a store without a sign and with blackened windows. To make sure that you're doing your best on that level, make certain that each web page on your site has its own unique title that is specific to its content. Try to make sure that it includes the primary keyword for that page, to ensure proper SEO for search engine spiders.

Also keep in mind search engines can’t understand images or flash animations, nor will they ever understand their appeal. Therefore, though images are great ways to add appeal to your visitors, by adding too much to any given web page, you're decreasing the value of your search engine optimization.

For proper search engine optimization, a simple textual link is your best option as it is the easiest for a search engine spider to understand. It makes your site much more likely to be seen in full by the spider, and therefore receive the best indexing and ranking results.

Autoresponder Secrets

Autoresponders are remarkable, versatile programs that do so much more than just automatically answer your email. Here are a few ideas that will help you to creatively and productively use your autoresponder to transform the casual visitor into a profitable customer.

Write reviews. Cover books, software, music, e-books, movies, etc., and put each review in an autoresponder. Review your affiliate programs, using a link to your affiliate's page in your autoresponder.

Writing and distributing targeted articles is a powerful tool to build your business credibility, bring traffic to your site, and increase your sales potential. If your articles contain valuable information, many editors will print what is known as a resource box for you. A resource box contains your bio and a brief description of your service or product. You should also place links back to your Internet Marketing Opportunity, and make sure it contains your autoresponder address.

Let's say you've written fifty articles. Put them on separate autoresponder accounts and create a master list that contains the titles of each article, the autoresponder address, and a brief abstract. Then promote your master list. Additionally, include your publishing guidelines so your affiliates can add their articles to your list, increasing the number of writers who are represented in your article list. You can also use these reminders to promote new products or services, and the products and services of your affiliate programs.

Set up your autoresponder to give instructions on how to obtain their free trial, and then make sure to follow-up to try and close the sale. Remember people who are exposed to a little taste often end up wanting the whole pie. You can also capture their email addresses when you offer them a free trial from your website.

When Will They Learn?

After a great deal of researching I finally joined what I considered to be an exploding Network Marketing company. Just shy of the 30 day mark I got a nasty e-mail from my sponsor yesterday claiming he was concerned because I haven’t been following the “tools for success” guild lines that which are laid out by most Network Marketing Companies. You know…

•Make a list of your warm market

•Employ the “3 foot rule”

•Invite your list to listen to conference calls

•Hold Private Business Receptions

•Start 3-way calling

•Always be Selling (A.B.C)

Well my response was to inform him that I got my own “tools for success”. He was not pleased and insisted that I explain what myself. Ok, he asked for it and he got it right…

I should begin by saying that sometimes it takes doing something different if you want different results… So here goes.

These are my “Tools for Success”

•Create a Domain Name

•Research Key Words

•Create a Capture Page

•Create a Blog

•Submit Articles & Press Releases

•Contact Targeted Responses

Here’s the thing… Most up-line sponsors either forgot or don’t realize that “Marketing” is the biggest part of
Network Marketing. Simply put, in today’s world there’s no better way to reach the masses than by utilizing the Internet to Market your opportunity.

Think about it…

Knocking on 1,000,000 doors could take you a life time to complete, however good copy from a sales letter or blog can literally have millions of prospects contacting you basically at the click of a button. I explained to my sponsor that this type of comparison is the reality of Marketing on the Internet vs. Marketing to your warm market.

Food for thought:

In today's world of Internet Marketing it’s often the guys who work smartest not the hardest that have the most success. And when you talk about success you have to decide how much time and effort you’re willing to invest to get the end result. Blogs, Articles, Press Releases, and Search Engine Optimization are basically unknown avenues amongst the "old school" marketer's. Depending on what your goals are these techniques can have astonishing results.

The moral here is simple...

Find an opportunity and sponsor that has some basic knowledge of Internet Marketing. Do your research, stick to your guns and don’t fall into the rut…

How Much Month is Left Over at The End of My Time?

We all agree that a traditional work week is around 40 hrs per week.  That amounts to 160 Hrs per month right?  You can bet the farm that the jury is still out on that…

Below is a breakdown of a typical month in the corporate world.

·         Commuting     (80 Hrs per month)

·         Office              (240 Hrs per month)

·         Sleep               (80 Hrs per week)

The total so far is 400 hours per month.  This doesn’t include the amount time that we spend at home doing miscellaneous things that we couldn’t finish at the office.  Or the hours that we lay in bed because were to stressed out to sleep.  Or the amount of time spent in counseling because families are falling apart.

Question:

How did everyday life become so time consuming? It seems that the good ole days of going to the office and having an exciting week of meetings, trainings, conference calls, etc. are long gone. Those once enjoyable tasks have simply been replaced by Commuting, Blackberry’s, and Starbucks.

Enter Network Marketing.

Yeah, I’ve heard it all before too… Pyramid Scheme, MLM’s, Residual Income, Lead Genreation, bla,  bla, bla…

The fact is there is an astonishing amount of Corporate Executives, Medical Professionals, and others that are getting involved in some type of Network Marketing simply because of the free time it creates for family events or just plain old relaxation.

Network Marketing is now a One Trillion Dollar Industry and has created more independent part time executives than any other industry. The testimonies are endless.

“Most people simply don’t get it.  You need to spend as much quality time with your family and friends as possible, because without them we’re nothing more than machines trudging thru life”.

“ My experience in this Industry has brought our family closer, with a stronger marriage, more time for each other, and more respect for each other.”

“I made a decision that I wasn’t going to be in corporate America, because they want your soul. My work is my playtime.  My life is now my purpose.”

We should all ask ourselves how much month is left over at the end of my time…  We’ve all heard the saying  ”here today and gone tomorrow”.  Well if your tomorrow is not what you envisioned, it could be time to try something different.

The Most Valuable 3 Minutes of…

Studies have shown that while reading most people start to lose interest in a subject after only 2-3 minutes.  No one likes to go through pages after pages of lengthy text straining their eyes and mind in the process. Because of this I’m going to hit you fast and hard.

Here are few facts of life…

·         Company mergers, Buyouts, outsourcing is at an all time high

·         Average costs for childcare is $5000 to $7000 a year

·         Gasoline at an average of $1200 a year

·         Average hours worked per week is around 60-80

The home business phenomenon is catching on because it has become the only viable solution for many families. It provides the opportunity for such amazing benefits as spouses working together, the ability to raise your children at home, financial freedom, peace of mind, and most importantly not having to wake up before the sun does!

With over $400 Billion generated in the Home based Business arena every year it might be an understatement to say this is a Phenomenon. The home business sector has exploded in growth tantamount to financially biblical proportions and it is understandable to see why!

If you are looking to start your own home business or work from home I would encourage finding a mentor that is successful in whatever area you are looking into and that will share their experience and wisdom with you.  I would also encourage you to invest in a booming industry with nothing but explosive growth.

Six Steps to Gain Massive traffic to Your Internet Site

We are all aware of the importance of traffic to our websites. However, what is the best way to go about obtaining this traffic? Here are the top six ways of getting visitors to your website.

1. Include a link to your website in every single email you send. Just sign off `best wishes, Fred, and then underneath this add the URL of your website

2. Create your own eBook, software or report and include in it the URL of your website. Sell it or give it away for a viral effect.

3. Join forums, chat-rooms, notice-boards and, if you are allowed, include your site URL in your signature

4. Establish reciprocal links with other websites. Create a links page on your website and allow other webmasters to place their links on your site in return for putting your internet link on their site. Check out free reciprocal link sites at http://www.linkmetro.com/ and http://link2me.com .

5. Create a Blog to compliment the subject or niche of your site, link it to your website and every time you post a message on your blog go to a free service like http://pingomatic.com/ to alert the different search engines that your blog has been updated.

6. Create your own articles of, say, 500-1000 words based on the subject of your website and submit it to as many article sites and ezines that you can find. If you cannot write your own articles, consider joining a PLR site. What is PLR? Private Label Rights. In short this means that other people write the articles and material and you are allowed to sign your own name to it, as if you wrote it yourself. You can use the PLR articles to submit to articles, sites, create your own eBooks or to create fresh content for your website.

e.g. Jane Smith is an expert on dog grooming and she is the webmaster of the successful dog-grooming website http://www.doggroomingisus.com

So, along comes our visitor to the article site, he is visiting as he wants information on dog grooming and lo and behold there is Jane’s article. Our visitor reads the article on doggy hairstyles and is so interested that he clicks on the url in the `about the author’ box and off he pops to the doggy grooming website, joins the doggy grooming forum and buys Jane’s latest doggy grooming product! Not only does the visitor do these things but he has also decided to start a doggy grooming website of his own and create an eBook too. So he uses Jane’s doggy grooming article as content for his website and his book (he is allowed to do this as long as he keeps your `about the author’ box attached to the article and he doesn’t change the article in any way.

This is where the viral aspect comes in - Jane’s website URL is spread like a virus across the internet. It is now in the visitor’s ebook which he sells on eBay and gives away to everyone he comes across and it is also on his new website.

This is only ONE visitor that read Jane’s article on ONE article site! Now imagine if YOU submit YOUR article to thousands of article sites across the internet. Just imagine how much traffic YOU would be attracting to YOUR websites if you wrote just one article a week!
